This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through majorhomes.ca, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

When you submit a project enquiry or feasibility consult request through a form on the site, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, project type, and message, and on our consult forms your lot or property status, budget range, and preferred timeline.

When you visit majorhomes.ca, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamps) for security and diagnostic purposes. If you arrive from one of our advertisements, we record the campaign parameters in the link that brought you here (UTM tags and ad click identifiers) so we know which ad you responded to.

Some pages use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our advertising. The Pixel sets cookies (such as _fbp) and reports page views and form submissions to Meta Platforms so we can see which ads lead to enquiries. You can limit ad tracking through your browser settings or Meta's ad preferences.

We use the contact details you submit to respond to your enquiry, schedule a consultation, and follow up about your project. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing.

If you ask us for written estimates, references, or design materials, we may share your contact information with subtrades or design partners directly involved in your project, only to the extent needed to deliver what you asked for.

If you provide your phone number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your enquiry: answering questions, scheduling and confirming consultations, sending appointment reminders, and following up on your project. If you call us and we miss you, we may send a text so you do not have to wait on a callback. Message frequency varies with your interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP for assistance, or call us at (778) 200-7622. Opting out of texts does not affect your enquiry; we will reach you by phone or email instead.

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party, except with our messaging platform provider acting on our behalf to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive, or as required by law.

We use a small number of service providers to operate the site and process enquiries: Vercel for hosting and content delivery, Google Fonts for typography, a customer relationship management platform (HighLevel / GoHighLevel) for routing and storing form submissions and delivering the calls and text messages described above, and Meta Platforms for advertising measurement.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not authorize them to use your information for their own purposes.

We keep contact form submissions and project correspondence for as long as is necessary to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of the project plus the periods required by tax, warranty, and limitations legislation in British Columbia.

If you tell us you no longer want to be contacted and we have no active obligation tied to your information, we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable time.

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Send a written request to the email or phone number above and we will respond within 30 days.

You can also opt out of any future correspondence at any time by replying to a message from us, calling our office, or emailing privacy@majorhomesltd.com.

We use TLS encryption for every page on majorhomes.ca and for the form submission endpoint. Access to enquiry data is limited to staff who need it to respond. We review our practices regularly and update them as our tools change.

majorhomes.ca is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our practices evolve or as required by law. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
